Being “Broken”
This latest faith story reminds me of something I heard in a women’s gathering not too long ago. A woman was giving her testimony and unfortunately, I walked in during the middle part and missed the beginning of what she had to say. The part I came in on was her challenging the audience to pray for an ‘Isaiah moment’. I didn’t know what exactly that meant because I didn’t know the book of Isaiah all that well. What it comes down to is this; God works amazing feats in our lives when we are “broken”. Some people call it “rock bottom”; others call it the “Valley of Death”. Call it what you will, Adam Albee’s testimony is all about being “broken”.
A main theme in the book of Isaiah is that God will pardon us of our sins if we will forsake our sinful pasts and turn to Him.
I thank God for His grace and forgiveness as I know Adam and Lane’ Albee do, as well. Please check out their story, part one and two; Love and Marriage Fall Apart and Saved! The Restoration of the Albees.
Blessings,
Betsy
